Lil Wayne is continuing his efforts to get the money he is owed from Cash Money Records. The New Orleans rapper has inked a deal with Kobalt Neighbouring Rights, to collect global royalty revenue for him. This is in conjunction to the lawsuit Weezy has against his label.
Lil Wayne joins Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Calvin Harris and others as Kobalt clients.
“We are thrilled to add such an exceptional list of talented artists to the Kobalt Neighbouring Rights division,” stated Ann Tausis, Managing Director of Kobalt Neighbouring Rights. “Our goal from the beginning has been to offer trust and transparency to our clients, and the word is spreading! I could not be more pleased with the inroads we are making, helping creators maximize their earnings from current and previous performances on a global scale.”
