Friday night Lil Wayne hosted the first ever Lil’ Weezyana Fest in New Orleans. The show was held on the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
Tidal streamed the show live as Wayne performed all his hits. The moment that everyone was waiting for was when Wayne would reunite with the Hot Boys. Mannie Fresh, Turk and Juvenile hit the stage with Weezy as they performed tracks like “Bling Bling, “Project Bitch,” “I Need A Hot Girl” and “Back That Azz Up.”
To pay tribute to New Orleans music Weezy brought out the person who put the city on the map, Master P. P, Mia-X and No Limit stormed the stage and performed “Make ‘Em Say Uhh.”
Tidal stopped streaming the concert before Lil Wayne brought out his last guest. The streaming company accused Apple of interfering with the show, by threatening them with a $20 million lawsuit if they stream Drake’s set.
Drake performed HYFR,” “My Way,” “Back to Back” and “Know yourself.”
